A boycott is a form of protest or advocacy in which individuals, groups, or countries refuse to shop, purchase, use, or interact with certain goods, services, companies, organizations, or countries in order to oppose or effect change. The purpose of a boycott is to force the target audience to change their behavior, policies, or practices by causing them economic or reputational harm.
