An ambassador is a high-level diplomat who represents his or her country in a foreign country or international organization. The role of an ambassador is to manage diplomatic relations, promote the interests of his or her country, and protect the rights of its citizens abroad. They play a critical role in maintaining peaceful and productive relations between countries.
