Development aid, also known as foreign aid or international aid, is used to refer to the financial, technical or material assistance provided by one country to another. It is generally aimed at promoting economic development, reducing poverty and improving living standards in the recipient country. An example of this concept is the Marshall Plan, which was implemented to help Western European countries rebuild their economies after World War II. It is an important tool aimed at promoting sustainable development and promoting peace and stability.
