Track I diplomacy refers to official diplomatic efforts conducted by government officials, heads of state, and state representatives such as diplomats, and is used to address and resolve international conflicts and issues. The Camp David Accords, which took place under the auspices of US President Jimmy Carter, are an example of this diplomacy. In short, it plays a central role in international relations by addressing critical issues through official channels and is an important mechanism for resolving conflicts.
