The concept of human security is a security approach that focuses on threats faced by individuals and communities. This concept plays an important role in modern international relations and development policies. Unlike the traditional concept of security, human security covers not only military threats but also political, economic, environmental and social threats. All of these include threats to individuals’ fundamental rights, health, environment and lives. Human security generally includes seven main elements. These are; economic security, food security, health security, environmental security, personal security, political security and community security.
